IT consulting dubai firms can act on: architecture, compliance and delivery decisions from engineers who have shipped the systems they advise on, in your working hours, with the recommendation written down and a team that can build it if you want the same hands.
This is the Dubai version of our software engineering practice’s advisory work. What changes here is the regulatory map, the residency question and the way a UAE firm contracts for consulting; the engineering itself is on the pillar page.
What an IT consulting engagement with us actually includes, and how it runs from Ahmedabad for a UAE business.
Almost the whole day overlaps
Dubai is an hour and a half behind Ahmedabad, so your morning stand-up is our late morning and your end of day is ours too. Reviews, incident calls and demos happen live, in your working hours, without a shift or a wait until tomorrow.
Fixed-scope, written-down advice
Every engagement ends in a document your board can read: the current state as we found it, the options with their costs and risks, and one recommendation with the sequence to get there. No retainers that drift, no advice that lives in a slide deck nobody can act on.
Residency decided before the architecture
UAE PDPL, the DIFC and ADGM regimes and sector rules such as the Central Bank’s can each change where data may live. We settle the residency question in discovery — UAE-region cloud, a free-zone boundary, or on-premises — and design the platform around the answer rather than retrofitting it.
Consultants who have shipped it
The people who advise you have built AML screening platforms, lending journeys and business-setup portals — so the recommendation is what we would do if it were our build, and if you want the same team to build it, it is one conversation away.

Direct answers to what Dubai firms ask before an IT consulting engagement.
01What does an IT consulting engagement include?
A fixed scope agreed up front, two to four weeks of review and interviews in your hours, and one written deliverable: the current state, the options with costs and risks, and a recommendation with its sequence. If you want us to build what we recommend, that is a separate, separately scoped decision — never assumed.
02Do you hold a UAE trade licence?
No. DigiWagon Technologies Private Limited is an Indian company and does not operate from the UAE, so it holds no mainland or free-zone licence. UAE clients contract with our Indian entity for an export of services; your advisers confirm the treatment on your side, and we supply whatever documentation they need.
03How does a Dubai engagement handle data residency?
As the first question, not the last. We map which regime applies — federal PDPL, DIFC, ADGM, sector rules — with your counsel, then recommend hosting and transfer arrangements that satisfy it, from UAE-region cloud to on-premises. During the engagement itself, your data stays in your environment; we work inside it.
04Can you advise without building, and build without advising?
Both. Advisory is a self-contained engagement with a document you own and can take to any vendor. Building is a separate scope with its own estimate. Many clients do one then the other, because the people who wrote the recommendation are the people who would build it — but neither obliges the other.
05How do you charge for consulting?
By fixed scope, never by open-ended retainer: we agree what will be reviewed, who will be interviewed and what the deliverable is, then quote a figure with its assumptions in conversation. Large programmes are staged, each stage scoped on its own, so you can stop at any document you find sufficient.
06Which regulators’ rules do you know?
The UAE PDPL and the DIFC and ADGM data protection regimes, the Central Bank’s outsourcing and technology-risk expectations, and the DFSA and FSRA rules for financial firms, from having built compliance platforms held to them. We work with your counsel on the legal position; we own the technical answer.
Bring us the decision you are stuck on.
We will tell you in the first conversation whether it is a two-week review or a six-week programme, and what the document will contain.
