Software Development Company in India, Built for Global Teams

India-built. Your hours.

A software development company india is known for, without the parts global buyers have learned to distrust: DigiWagon builds and runs production software from Ahmedabad for banks, manufacturers and product companies in India, the UK, the US, the Gulf and Canada — in the client’s hours, under ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 9001, with the architecture decisions written down.

This is the India page of our custom software development practice: what the country adds — the talent, the cost base, the UK and US overlap, the DPDP and RBI rules — and which of our work was built here for here. The practice itself is on the parent page.

How we work here

How we work, from India.

Four things a global buyer asks any custom software development company india offers, answered as we do them.

Your hours, from our afternoon

London is four and a half to five and a half hours behind us and the US east coast nine and a half to ten and a half, so a UK morning and a New York morning are both inside our working day. We run stand-ups and reviews live in the client’s hours and agree incident cover in the contract rather than assuming it.

An Indian company, contracting the way global buyers expect

DigiWagon Technologies Private Limited signs a master agreement with statements of work, assigns IP on payment, takes an NDA before discovery and invoices in INR, USD or GBP as you prefer — an export of services for overseas clients, a GST invoice for Indian ones. Your advisers confirm the treatment on your side.

A team that stays on your work

Engineers are assigned to your product, not rotated through a bench: the people who ran discovery are the people in the stand-up six months later, which is why our published case studies carry two- and three-year relationships. Software development outsourcing india teams are judged on continuity; ours is the point.

Two-week releases, ISO-run

Fortnightly increments into your environment, every architecture decision recorded, and ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 9001 controls on our side of the work — the evidence a bank’s vendor review, a CERT-In question or a UK customer’s due diligence asks for already exists.

FAQ

Questions Indian teams ask first.

Direct answers to what buyers ask an Indian software development company before an engagement.

01What does software development cost in India?

Less than in London, New York or Dubai for the same delivery, because the cost base is Indian and the standard is not. The drivers are integrations, compliance regime, throughput and audit needs, legacy migration and how much of the run you hand over. We scope those in discovery and give the estimate with its assumptions, never a rate card.

02How do Indian teams handle overlap with US and UK hours?

London’s morning and early afternoon fall inside our working day, so UK clients get live overlap for most of theirs. For the US we fix a window every morning, eastern or central time, for stand-ups, reviews and decisions; the rest of your day’s questions are answered by your next morning, with incident cover agreed in the contract.

03What does DPDP compliance require of a build?

Notice and consent that a data principal can understand and withdraw, purpose limitation, security safeguards, breach notification to the Data Protection Board and affected people, retention limits and a way to honour rights requests — plus the extra duties if the client is a significant data fiduciary. We map the data flows in discovery and design to them.

04Which Indian institutions have you built for?

A leading small finance bank, for paperless fixed-deposit onboarding and a digitised MSME loan journey; a digital lender’s personal-loan engine; a multi-brand tractor service platform for owners and workshops; and a manufacturer’s production and wages platform. Each is published as a case study on this site with its numbers.

05Are you a dedicated-team or a project company?

Both, and the model is chosen in discovery: a fixed-scope build when the outcome is defined, a dedicated product team on your roadmap when it is not, and often the second growing out of the first. Either way the people stay on your work — the engineer in discovery is the engineer in the stand-up a year later.

06What certifications and controls do you hold?

ISO/IEC 27001 for information security and ISO 9001 for quality, both current, both applied to how we handle your code, data and access. We do not claim others. For clients who need SOC 2 or sector evidence, we supply the records our controls produce and support your auditor; the certification itself is yours to hold.

Tell us what the product has to do, and where its users are.

We will show you the Indian builds and the global work behind them before anything is scoped.
